Font and System Icons
About Replacing Fonts and System Icons
Hi Friends! Here you can upload files for changing the icons and fonts for the UIQ3 phones.
The icons can be changed simply by replacing resource folder in your memory card.Similarly,fonts can be changed by replacing fonts folder in the memory card.
I have also uploaded a zip file which you can extract and transfer to your memory card so that you can change the icons of your phone.You can find the file(resource.zip) in attachment section at the bottom of the page.
Otherwise, you can also Click Here to download resource.zip
Note: If resource folder is not present, then create it in your memory card. Similarly, if fonts folder is not there in your memory card, create it under resource folder.
Also note that replacing system icons or fonts can be dangerous to your phone,so try at your own risk.
Keep on improving this great website for UIQ3 devices. Moreover, feedback for improving the site is welcome.

can u plz tell me more detail on how to copy the resource?or maybe u should upload some screenshots?
i already have resource folder in my memory stick, but there is only apps folder,help folder and plug-ins folder, there is no font folder.. after i copied the resource into my memory stick and restart, only phone icon, quickoffice icon and tool icon that have changed.. thx.. |

First, I really love this stuff. Keep these coming. If you have some more of them.
You cannot remove the folder if it is in your phone. Mainly because of the fact that the phone reads them from the card and keeps them locked. It might work if you remove the card and insert it again, after that go straight to the fileexplorer and remove the directory. This might work. |
